Opening Day MLBbros that Stole the Show
Cedric Mullins
MLBbro Cedric Mullins helped the Baltimore Orioles start the season with an offensive explosion, resulting in a 10-9 victory over the Boston Red Sox. Mullins had one hit, two walks, and two stolen bases and served as a catalyst atop the O’s dynamic lineup. Orioles fan hope that Mullins will bring this type of brilliance all season as the team looks to return to the postseason for the first time since 2016.
Michael Harris II
After a dominant rookie season, which saw him win National League Rookie of the Year, MLBbro Michael Harris II picked up right where he left off. Harris singled to center field in the second inning and later scored to give the Atlanta Braves their first run of the new season. He was the catalyst in starting a three-run second inning for the club. The Braves would go on to defeat the Washington Nationals 7-2. Harris II provided a spark to the team last year, ad they rewarded him with a long-term contract. The young MLBbro wasted no time showing that he was worth the deal.
Marcus Stroman
The Chicago Cubs received a dominant performance by their ace pitcher MLBbro Marcus Stroman. Stroman threw six shutout innings while striking out eight batters and only surrendering three hits.
Big dawg…big bet. Entire family receiving blessings daily from the work put in. Mom and dad are the true legends. So grateful for their existence. Thankful for it all and ready for more life! 🗣️ pic.twitter.com/KOldIErNOf

This was the type of outing fans in the windy city expected after Stroman had a strong showing in the WBC for Puerto Rico. Stroman faced an early bases-loaded jam in the third inning but avoided any damage by getting a Rowdy Tellez of the Milwaukee Brewers to bounce into a double play. The only mistake the MLBbro made was being a victim of baseball’s new pitch clock rule, which ultimately led to a walk to outfielder Christian Yelich—otherwise, an excellent start for the Stro Show.
Better Luck Next TimeÂ
Hunter Greene
Opening Day was no fun for MLBbro Hunter Greene as he struggled to make it past the fourth inning of the Cincinnati Reds’ opening contest. The electric pitcher had eight strikeouts but surrendered five hits and three walks, leading to 3 earned runs before being pulled after 3.1 innings. Greene has dynamic pitching talent but can struggle with his command, and the long ball issues continue to stunt his development. Let’s hope he shakes back in his next start after a rocky 2023 debut.
