1. The Human Torch | MLBbro Chase Burns Stands Alone at Number
One
The way #MLBbro Chase Burns has been wheeling and dealing in 2026, it’s no surprise he get this ranking and is clearly the obvious choice. Burns has a 9-1 record pre-All-Star break and hi dominant stats back up exactly why.
Burns is tied for the second-best win loss record in the league with a dominant 2.36 ERA (3rd overall) and an astounding eleven strikeouts per nine innings (5th overall). When you put the record and the production together, it tells the story of being a number one pitcher not only on this list, but in the whole league of major league baseball period. With the Cincinnati Reds being 12 games behind first place in the division… Burns has been the brightest flame of their season.
2. Mr. Fantastic | MLBbro Taj Bradley Bends but Never Breaks at
Number Two
If MLBbro had a bounce back Pitcher of the Year award, Taj Bradley would currently be at the top in poll positioning. The first half of the season Bradley has made a complete turnaround in accomplishing what’s most important in sports, Winning.
While the 3.98 ERA and being Ranked 26 th in the league in strikeouts with 91 before the all-star break, the numbers don’t exactly jump off the page, but they are a major improvement from Bradley’s 2025 season, and it shows in the win column.
After a below average 2025 season with a 6-8 record, he’s currently at 6-3 with a 9.79 K/9. Bradley is showing the Minnesota Twins he’s exactly who they hoped he be. With three ways including a 97-mph fastball to gas hitters in his tool bag, Bradley has been nothing short of
fantastic for a team clawing their way up the AL Central division.
3. The Thing | MLBbro Kumar Rocker Solidifies Number Three
Let’s keep things real… Kumar had a rocky start to 2026. His first inning ERA was as high as 9.69, and his record has struggled immensely at 2-6 in the win loss column. Luckily the Rangers and manager Skip Schumaker believe in this MLBbro and knew just the thing to help, it’s not how you start but how you finish.
Make no mistake, Rocker IS a starting pitcher; he’s just hasn’t been the opening act, at least not for the first inning. To cure his first inning demons, Schumaker implemented an unorthodox strategy with going with an opening pitcher and bringing in Rocker for the second inning and beyond, and it worked.
In the two games during this experiment, Rocker has significantly dropped his ERA to 1.42, only giving up two runs in 12.2 innings with 16 strikeouts and includes nine strikeout performance on June 22.
While Rocker is due to return to opening his own show on June 28, opening or not, Rocker can be the glue that holds this Texas Rangers starting rotation together.
4.) The Invisible Force | MLBbro Hunter Greene is Coming Back for
His Throne
You must be an amazing talent to make this list even though you haven’t played a single game yet in 2026. Hunter Greene is exactly that. Early season surgery for bone spurs in his elbow has sidelined Greene and placed him on the IL for 60 days.
Chase Burns & Hunter Greene Could Be Greatest Top Of Rotation MLBbro Tandem In History
However, when the injury bug doesn’t bite the dominating mound marauder, Greene is undeniably a force that’s anything but invisible. In only 19 starts in 2025, he posted a 7-4 record with a 2.76 ERA, a 31.4% strikeout rate, and a showstopping 10.87 K/9.
The one thing that stopped those numbers from being even more impressive is the same thin stopping him now, injury. The good news for the Cincinnati Reds and Greene fans is making his final Triple-A rehab start on Sunday June 28 and will no question make his presence know when he returns to capture his throne as one of MLB’s best MLBbro pitchers.
As far as the throne for the best pitcher in the Reds rotation, fellow MLBbro Chase Burn currently has dibs. Once Greene returns and if he’s anything like he was in his pre-injury form he’ll be second fiddle to no one.
