Major League Baseball Owners are expected to lock out players after the 2026 season due to ongoing salary cap disagreements. The current collective bargaining agreement is set to expire on December 1, 2026, and if negotiations do not reach an agreement, a lockout could occur, potentially disrupting the 2027 season. Minnesota Twins veteran slugger Josh Bell is very excited about the team’s young arms, including Taj Bradley.
He also says a lockout is “certain” and the players are prepared, claiming ‘this era of baseball, the players are in as good a position as they have ever been.”
