George Springer is in the midst of having one of the greatest Major League seasons for a player over the age of 35 as he has helped carry the Blue Jays to the best record in the American League.  For the second week in a row he earns himself the top spot on our #HighFive list.

1. George Springer Is On A Rampage

Springer takes the top spot on our Week 23 #HighFive list in back-to-back weeks for the first time in the veteran outfielder’s career this time thanks to a .400/.545/.800 slashline over his last seven games.

His Blue Jays begin a crucial stretch of games Friday as they first travel to Yankees Stadium to take on their divisional foes before welcoming his former team, the Astros to Toronto.

2. Jo Adell Is “The Show” In LA

Jo Adell is having a season worthy of winning our 2025 MLBbro.com Player of The Year award, which is almost shocking after the struggles he faced offensively through his first five Major League seasons.

He ranks 8th in the American League with 90 RBI while his .502 Slugging Percentage also falls in the American League’s top 10.

3. Hunter Greene “Machine”

Hunter Greene started September strong with a solid outing against the Pirates as his Reds began the final push for their playoff lives.

He went six and a third innings allowing only one run, five hits, one walk and striking out seven.

Even though the Twins have reached the stage of the season where they are only playing for pride, Byron Buxton is finding a reason to shine in what will go down as his best season since his 2017 campaign.
