Hunter Greene is finally coming into his own in the 2024 campaign.
Greene was has gone seven innings in three of his last five starts. His ERA is down to 3.27, as he is more consistent in his starts.

During the offseason and spring training Greene added two new pitches to his bag of tricks.
With many wondering how will he be effective this season, he proved all the doubters wrong by using his new weapons to his advantage.
Greene added a curveball and a splitter, using them perfectly in his last five starts.
It took him a few starts to fully trust his new pitches and he probably used them more than he wanted to early in the season while trying to test them against batters.
He has now found the perfect balance and is relying on his 100+MPH heater when the moment is most crucial.
Greene is now top ten in strikeouts for the season with 58. With Greene being more consistent, the Reds now have a dangerous ace on the mound.
Hunter Greene Becoming Workhorse
Greene is dangerous and he’s going deep into games. In the month of May he went five or more innings in all his starts. In a game against the Dimondbacks, Greene would strikeout five batters across seven innings.
With the Reds having early season struggles, having Greene is a key piece of the team. If Greene can get going on the mound, the Reds can put together some fierce offense led by fellow MLBbro Willl Benson and Elly Del La Cruz.
Hunter Greene is 2-2 on the season with a lot of the season ahead. The Reds are in third place in the NL Central division. With lots of young talent on the team, they can make a mid-season push towards the top of the division.
The best way for them to start their push is on the mound. Greene was the second overall pick in the 2017 draft, drafted out of high school as well.
