We’re deep in our bag this week, MLBbro.com Fam! Grab your pocketbook, boot up that app (or hit up Shohei’s interpreter), and let’s cash out on these three winners:

1. The Houston Astros (-135) had a terrible start without their former manager Dusty Baker but have recently turned it around since the departure of the legendary MLBbro. They look to keep the momentum going against the Detroit Tigers (+115), who have been freefalling since their hot start. With the Astros’ pulling it together to get to sixth in batting average, fifth in hits, and seventh in home runs, the Tigers may be tucking their tail all series long.

Blast off. Astros -1.5 RL (+105)

2. Division rivals clash on Friday, as the New York Yankees (-140) head down I-95 to battle the Tampa Bay Rays (+118). Even with the Yankees’ ace Clarke Schmidt (3 wins – 1 loss, 3.5 ERA) taking the mound, we’re more excited about the 2024 debut of the Rays’ young Melanated Mound Marauder, Taj Bradley. Bradley started the season on the IL, and will face off with the Yankees’ fourth-ranked home run hitting lineup. It will be a battle of bros, as Aaron Judge (8 HRs) and Giancarlo Stanton (8 HRs) look to ruin Bradley’s first game back.

Hurricane Yankee. Yankees -1.5 RL (+100)

3. Speaking of the battle for the AL East, the division leading Baltimore Orioles (-140) look to solidify their standing when they host the suddenly surging Arizona Diamondbacks (+118). After sweeping the Reds, the D’backs start their youngster Brandon Pfaadt (1-2 record, 4.61 ERA) versus the Orioles’ fifth-year starter Cole Irvin (3 – 1, 2.86 ERA). Irvin looks to end the Arizona hot streak, and with his offense ranking first in home runs, we’re banking on Cedric Mullens (6 HRs) and his squad to pull it off.

Best Bet. Orioles -1.5RL (+100)
