Dusty Baker has led the maligned Houston Astros to the 2021 World Series, defeating the Boston Red Sox 5-0 to win the ALCS in six games (4-2).

Baker becomes the second oldest manager to win a pennant at age 72 and has a chance to become the third Black manager to win a World Series (Cito Gaston, Dave Roberts).
