Crawford is the heart and soul of the Seattle Mariners,; showing leadership both on and off the field with a .370 average over his last seven games and the class act of shifting part-time over to third base to make room for their most highly touted prospect.  He earns the top spot on our Week 10 #HighFive list for the first time this season.

1. J.P. Crawford

J.P. Crawford’s impact for the Seattle Mariners cannot be measured with just statistics.

The longest tenured member of the team is hungry to get the franchise their first World Series ring after falling short in Game Seven of the ALCS last season.

Crawford, who had a seven-game hitting streak snapped on Monday, recordedhad a three-hit game in the finale of their series against the New York Mets, where he opened the game with his 14th leadoff home run since 2023, good for fourth most in the American League over that span behind only Marcus Semien, Byron Buxton and Yandy Diaz.

His 10 home runs are just two off his season total from last year and haves him on track to surpass his career-high of 19, set  he hit in 2023.

Crawford enters the Mariners weekend series against the Detroit Tigers with a .469 On- Base Percentage, three home runs, four RBIs and a .741 Slugging Percentage over his last seven games.

Rocker ended May on a high note, going six shutout innings, and allowing only three hits, on two strikeouts and a walk last weekend against Kansas City.

He has not allowed a run in three of his last four starts and has lowered his season ERA to 3.54, trailing only future Hall of Famer Jacob DeGrom and his 3.48 for the lowest amongst the team’s starters.

Rocker’s next start will be Friday night in Arlington as the Texas Rangers welcome in the American League Central- leading Cleveland Guardians to Texas.

3. Grant Anderson

The 28-year- old out of Port Arthur, Texas, surrendered only one run acrossin seven May outings, posting a 1.17 ERA in 7.2 innings.

Over his last 14 outings, Anderson has given up only three runs, all of which came via the home run.

In 254 total games this season, he has a 2.459 ERA and a .216198 Batting Average against —– both on pacepacing to be career lows entering this weekend’s series in Denver; a place that is always tough for pitchers to perform well in.

Edwards, who ranks in the top three in nearly every hitting category for Major League second basemen, has a .346 average and a .469 On- Base Percentage over his last seven games.

All-Star voting applications recently opened, so his performance over the first few weeks of June could be the determining factor on whether or not he can edge out Luis Arraez and Ozzie Albies for the National League starting second base position.

5. Jack “Black Jack” Flaherty

Jack Flaherty takes the fifth and final spot on our Week 10 #HighFive list after earning his first victory of the season Tuesday night in Tampa Bay.

Jack Flaherty Is Still Earning $35M Contract With Detroit Tigers

If the Tigers want to have any hopes of turning around what has been a disappointing season around, they need more of these types of games from Flaherty, who signed a two-year, $35 million deal with the team in 2025.

On Tuesday, he threw five scoreless innings, allowing just five hits and two walks to help Detroit sweep the American League East- leading Rays.

After posting a 6.26 ERA in May, getting off to a strong start in June is a huge boost of for the confidence for Flaherty, who, without Tarik Skubal and a number of other Tigers starting pitchers, is going to need to perform like an ace.

His next start will be Sunday Friday night in a 2025 ALDS rematch with the Seattle Mariners.
