Black baseball is front and center in Washington, D.C., and second- year player Daylen Lee is showing signs of joining teammates C.J. Abram and James Wood as Major League All-Stars with his play through the first three months of the season. This past Tuesday night, Lile had one of the best games of his life, driving in a career-high four runs and homering twice in the same game for the first time in his career.

Then, oncame Wednesday, where he followed that performance with an epic game-winning two-run bomb to help defeat the Reds in extra innings.
Over his last seven games, Lile is hitting .370417 with an OBPS of .367407, eight RBIs and a stolen base.
2. Byron Buxton

Big Buck is on a power surge as he claims the two spot on our Week 7 #HighFive list.
After hitting four homers in five games, including two in Wednesday’s game on the first two pitches he saw, Buxton joined reigning American League MVP Aaron Judge as the only Major League outfielders to hit 50 home runs since 2025.

He entered Thursday second in the American League with 15 home runs and ranks in the top 10 in both OPS and Slugging Percentage.

Chase Burns continues to make it look easy on the mound after his fifth consecutive start allowing two or fewer runs., Tthis time, he did it against the Astros. Burns has surrendered just two runs or fewer less runs in seven of his eight starts this year, while going at least five innings in each of them.
Last Saturday in Houston, he threw six innings, allowing only one run on four hits and three walks.

He entered Thursday with a 1.8792 ERA and 554 strikeouts, both ranking in the top 10 among National League pitchers, to go along with a good 54-1 record.
4. “Money” Michael Harris

Michael Harris has become one of the best pure hitters in the Majors this season, raising as he rose his batting average above .300 during Week 7 to earn the fourth spot on our #HighFive list.

5. Jo Adell “The Show’

The Jo Adell show is the only thing in Anaheim worth watching over the last few weeks, so good thing it has been prime time worthy.
He had his first multi-homer game of 2026 on Sunday in the Angels’ 6-1 victory over last year’s American League champion Toronto Blue Jays. That was the seventh time Adell homered twice in the same game in a seven-year career that has done a complete 180 since the start of the 2025 season.
