The MLB trade deadline saw a bunch of teams making big-time moves. The New York Yankees were at the forefront of the deadline when they acquired MLBbro Jazz Chisholm Jr from the Miami Marlins.
The Marlins were big sellers during the deadline, Chisholm now has the opportunity to play with the best team and the best players in the Majors.
Jazz Chisholm Is Back On The Infield
One of those opportunities entails Chisholm moving back to the infield.
With the Yankees needing to fill a void at third baseman, Chisholm fits in perfectly with the clubhouse.
Although Chisholm came into the majors as a second baseman he will now be asked to patrol the third base on defense. This will be Chisholm’s first time getting time at third base since his marlin days, he hasn’t disappointed.
In Chisholm’s first seven games he has not committed any errors. If anything Chisholm is playing better than he has ever done defensively.
With the defense being outstanding, his offense is on point as well. At the plate Chisholm is is batting .300 and an OPS of over 1.000.
This means Chisholm is not only bringing his swagger and charisma to the Bronx, but he is also producing and becoming a key factor in the lineup.
Jazz Chisholm Jr is now teamed up with fellow bro Aaron Judge, and power hitter Juan Soto to form a new Big 3 in the Bronx. Yankees fans are thinking World Series once again.
