This Cedric Mullins cat is pretty damn good and despite his reputation as baseball’s best bunter, he does a lot more than lay em’ down. He walks down pitchers too, as evidenced by his going 5-for-5 while scoring three times in Sunday’s win over the Red Sox.

That perfect day followed a 2-for4 performance in a 4-2 win over Boston on Saturday.
Mullins is on fire and off to an electrifying start in his first full season in the majors. The 26-year-old speed demon is now 9-for-13 at the plate, making it a no-brainer for skipper Brandon Hyde to keep him in the leadoff spot.
He’s already making history.

Looks like we have another Black Knight breaking through in the game and establishing himself as a Soul Patroller of great impact. The left-handed hitter looks to stay hot as the Orioles travel to New York for a three-game series with the Yankees.
Don’t look now but the projected cellar dweller Orioles are 3-0. Must Be The Mullins.
