George Springer having the best year of his career in his age 35 season is one of the best stories in the Major. The Blue Jays right fielder has been a spark plug for the top team in the American League since returning from the Injured List with a concussion as he earns the top spot on our Week 22 #HighFive list.

George Springer should be the front runner for Major League Baseball’s Comeback Player of the Year award with just over a month to go in the 2025 season.
He will enter September posting career-highs in batting average and On Base percentage and is on track to surpass his highest RBI and home run total since 2022.
Springer has a slash line of .433/.485/.867 with six RBI, two steals and four home runs, two of which came in the same game Tuesday night in a victory over the Minnesota Twins.

This weekend Springer and his Jays will host the Brewers in a three game series between the top teams in each league.
2. Jeremiah Jackson

Jeremiah Jackson joins rare company as one of just a few MLBbros to be named to our #HighFive list in the first month of their career.
The 2018 second round pick by the Angels was drafted out of high school after being named Alabama Mr. Baseball thanks to him hitting over .600 as a senior.

After spending time in both Los Angeles and the New York Mets systems, he signed with the Orioles this past November and earned his way onto their 40-man roster.
Jackson made his Major League debut August 1st and has seen immediate success as an everyday player for the O’s as he has hits in 12 of his last 13 games and a .324 batting average.
Last Saturday night he hit the first home run of his career.
3. Jazz Chilsholm Jr. “Bahamian Blur”

Jazz Chisholm hit two home runs on Sunday Night Baseball to honor his late friend. He has been one of the best second baseman in the Majors this season as he earns the three spot on our #HighFive.
Numbers do not lie, and they tell a great story about the success of Jazz Chisholm Jr. since joining the Yankees.

This week he hit three home runs in two games. This after him announcing via his Instagram that a close friend had passed away Saturday.
Among all MLB second baseman he ranks second in home runs and slugging percentage, top five in RBI and is tied for the lead in stolen bases with 23.
Chisholm is slashing .286/.400/.714 with three home runs and seven RBI over his last seven games.
4. Devin Williams “The Airbender”

It has been a season to forget for Devin Williams who just last year was considered the best reliever in the Majors. However as we inch closer to playoffs he seems to be finding his groove.
Williams has not given up an earned run since his August 8th outing against the Astros throwing 6.1 shutout innings allowing just two hits, one walk and recording a save.
After making a few additions to their bullpen at the trade deadline I believe there is less pressure to have to rely on him in high leverage situations which has helped him settle down recently.
If Williams can continue to stack together good outings his confidence will surely peak at the right time as the Yankees prepare their fight to keep hold of the final American League Wild Card spot.
5. Jo Adell “The Show”

Jo Adell accomplished a major feat this week reaching 30 home runs for the first time in his career and joining Aaron Judge as the only MLBbros to reach that number this season

This weekend Adell and his Angels travel to Houston to take on the Astros in a three-game series.
