Autumn is here! The best baseball has yet to be played, and there are still plenty of regular season tickets to cash. Let’s jump right into it with the #BrosBettingBaseball (@bbruh916 / @abookay3) so you can BALL IN THE FALL!
1. No better way to get into the pumpkin season than the battle of the orange men. No, we’re not talking Syracuse baseball, we’re talking about the Houston Astros (-160) making that trip to the east coast to visit the Baltimore Orioles (+135). With Houston clinching the AL West, there is very little for the Astros to play for heading into the playoffs. Baltimore, on the other hand, are in the heat of a tightly contested AL Wildcard race and are currently chasing the likes of the Mariners, Rays, and current wildcard leading Blue Jays for a spot in the playoffs. Houston’s starting pitcher Jose Urquidy (3.96 ERA, 13 wins – 7 losses) and Baltimore’s rookie starter Dean Kremer (3.33 ERA , 7 wins – 5 losses) are nearly identical in ERAs and WHIP. Offensively, both teams are liable to go off with MLB Bros Yordan Alvarez (37 HRs) looking great for the Astros and Anthony Santander (27 HRs) looking to hit 30 homers for the Orioles. The man analyzing the trends, PropaganDrew, dug in deep on how well teams who have clinched playoff spots fare after punching their ticket to the postseason, and that makes our pick the home dog Baltimore Orioles Moneyline.
2. Sticking with the Orioles versus the Astros, I took a look at the over/under on total runs and discovered the pitchers’ ERAs can be a bit deceiving. In his last two games against the bottom of the division Los Angeles Angels and Oakland A’s, Urquidy has allowed 6 earned runs in his own ballpark to both of the struggling division rivals. Baltimore’s Kremer has been a bit better, allowing 3 runs on the road to the struggling Washington Nationals and followed that up by allowing 2 earned runs to the aforementioned Toronto Blue Jays. Considering the firepower both teams are packing on offense, we’re taking the Orioles/Astros Over 7.5 total runs before we leave Baltimore.
3. What’s Fall baseball without discussing the greatest rivalry in sports? The Boston Red Sox (+185) make a trip to the Bronx to face the New York Yankees (-225) and pray they don’t become the team our MLB Bro Aaron Judge breaks the AL home run record against. Boston’s lefty Rich Hill (4.7 ERA, 7 wins – 7 losses) may be feeling the pressure to avoid being on the wrong side of the record books, while Yankee’s righty Gerrit Cole (3.41 ERA, 12 wins – 7 losses) is looking to bounce back from a couple of 4 earned run games. All that considered, the Yankees have been on a tear, and we don’t see that changing anytime soon. The first #BrosBestBet of the fall is the Yankees Moneyline, and if you’re feeling extra risky go ahead and punch that prop for Judge reaching 62 homers in this game as well! Later MLB Bro fam!

It must be summertime because the #BrosBettingBaseball are hotter than a camel’s foot heading into the second week of June! 3-0 last week! So nice I’ll say it THRICE! 3-0! 3-0!
Don’t call it a comeback, though, as my bro’s (@abookay3) trends and my fanatical analysis have hit on 75% of our MLBBro.com picks so far on the season. Check out PropaganDrew and I (@bbruh916) on twitter for some daily plays, and keep following @MLBBrodotcom for some of the best baseball writeups, shows, and debates from the elite black and brown sports journalists in the game. Now to the 3 plays for your Friday!
1. Let’s take a trip to Motown, as the Detroit Tiger (+170) host the Toronto Blue Jays (-200) starting at 1:10pm Eastern. The Tiger’s RHP Elvin Rodriguez hasn’t fared well this season, as he’s winless and climbing a mile high 10.13 ERA. Ouch.
Meanwhile, the Blue Bird’s righty Jose Berrios is sitting pretty with a 4 win 2 loss record on the year and nearly half the ERA at 5.24. Combine the staggering pitching matchup with the Tiger’s terrible batting stats (bottom 5 in batting average, runs, on base %, and HRs), and Toronto ML is our #BrosBestBet today. I know we’ll be sprinkling a few shekels on the -1.5 run line, too. No risk it, NO BISCUIT!
2. Now leave the trash cans at home, but bring your pocketbook to H-Town as the Houston Astros (-170) take on the Miami Marlins (+150). You’ll want to drop a few bucks on the Astros ML because of one of the MLB Bros you need to know, Yordan Alvarez! The second year DH has been hovering around a .300 BA, bashed 17 homers, and sent 38 runners home on the year. What about the pitchers? The matchup is going to be tight, as both the Marlins Pablo Lopez (2.18 ERA, 4 wins – 2 losses) and the ‘Stros Luis Garcia (3.07 ERA, 3 wins – 4 losses) have been solid, so look to the home field advantage and bats of the Astros to squeeze out the W.
3. Finally, let’s stay in Houston and hit theUNDER 8.5 Total Runs between the Astros and Tigers. As I mentioned, both pitchers are well below 4 earned runs and it should be a great duel. Look for an old school grind it out pitching matchup, and I’m forecasting a bloop and maybe a lucky bomb to end a tight, low-scoring game. Hit the sportsbook early, punch in some straight bets or a nice 3-team parlay with a round robin side bet to make sure you win all your shekels! We’ll see you next week MLBBro.com fam!

As we (@bbruh916 / @abookay3) drag our sorry butts into the MLBBro.com offices, we’re depressed at last week’s 1 win 2 loss record…shame, shame, shame. I can’t look into Hall of Famer Rob Parker’s eyes. I shudder wondering what the head honcho JR Gamble is thinking about our Ls to the Reds and Mariners.
But hey, if we can take a whoopin’ from our pops for watching the dirty cable channels on his blackbox back in the 90s, we can bounce back from last week! We’re going to do better, Dad America! Here are the revenge picks for today, the first Friday of June…
1. Game 1 takes place at 1:05 PM Eastern in the Bronx, as the New York Yankees (no line posted) take on the Detroit Tigers. Even though the Tigers were showing signs of life against the sneaky good Twins, the Bronx Bombers and righty Gerrit Cole (3.12 ERA) haven’t let off the gas all season. The Yankees money line are the Bros Best Bet, with their 4th ranking slugging % and 2nd ranked homer totals, this should be a walk in the park against the Tiger’s RHP Elvin Rodriguez (6.17 ERA) who is still winless on the season.
2. Speaking of the Yankees, we’re staying here for “Propagan”Drew’s prop of the day. I mentioned the Yanks can slug, and a lot of that is because Aaron Judge is playing for a new contract and bigger payday. Drew is feeling great about the Yankees over 3.5 Runs prop, and if you are feeling as risky as I am you’ll also throw a shekel or two on the over 8.5 Runs total for the game.
3. Rounding out Friday’s picks, let’s take it to Tampa Bay and lay a few on the Ray’s money line against the up and down Chicago White Sox (no line posted). This is less about the Sox RHP Vince Velasquez (5.3 ERA) only winning two games all year, and more about the absolute filth the Ray’s lefty ace Shane McClanahan (2.01 ERA) has served up on his way to a 5-2 record. Shane the Mac has been almost unhittable and barring a silent performance from the bats in Tampa this should be another W for him.

Another Friday is here, and those Bros Betting Baseball (@bbruh916 / @abookay3) are sporting another winning record of 2 of 3 from last week. Too bad it’s a weekly pick’em, because WHAT A WEEK IT WAS! Check out twitter and give us a follow to see some of the amazing parlays we hit, including an exhilarating 6-Teamer Screamer that was capped off with a Giants 13-12 walk-off vs. the Mets. With that said, let’s get you our 3 winning picks of this Friday, 5/27/2022:
1. We start off in the Midwest, as the beat up San Francisco Giants (no line posted) travel to the suddenly competitive Cincinnati Reds, starting at 12:40 PM Eastern. The Reds have actually looked great, taking the last two games from the Cubs in dominating fashion. That just won’t be enough against the Giants new lefty toy Carlos Rodon, who has been steady with a 3.43 ERA and has 62 Ks through 44 Innings. Take the Giants, and take them BIG.
2. Going back to Cali, let’s head south on the 5 to San Diego where the Padres (-200) welcome the Pittsburgh Pirates (+175) for a 3:40PM Eastern first pitch. As hot as the summer has been, the Fathers are even hotter! 2nd in the NL West, and they’re top 10 across the board in all pitching stats. Taking the bump for SD is Lefty Sean Manaea who actually has a higher ERA (4.04) than his adversary Jose Quintana (ERA 2.43). Quintana hasn’t been bad this year, but the Padre’s bats are better. 11th in Runs and on a hot streak, take the Padres at home.
3. The night cap is the Bro’s Best Bet, as “Propagan”Drew hits you in the face with numbers that will blow you away. Houston Astros (-200) will be in the Pacific Northwest to battle the Seattle Mariners. After a hot start, the Mariners have been more miss than hit in their 2022 campaign. A slumping Chris Flexen (RHP) tries to shake the stank off the Mariners, but he’s got a mountain of a man to climb in the Astro’s vet Justin Verlander (RHP). Drew’s stats are crazy:
- Mariners are 0-4 in Flexen’s last 4 starts vs. a winning team
- Astros are 5-0 in their last 5 games after scoring 2 runs or less in their previous game
- Wins vs. Losses MATTER; Verlander is currently 6-1, while Flexen is 1-6 on the year.
Rock the night hard and pick those dirty rotten Astros, and let Vegas take a bath while you swim in those disgusting dollar dollar bills, yal!!!

The Bros Betting Baseball (@Bbruh916 & @Abookay3) are EN FUEGO! We took home all the Ws, and left those Ls for the bookie as we won both games (SFG/LAD) and the prop play (MIN Twins Over 4.5 Runs) on Friday the 13th. That’s 5-1-3 in the last three weeks, and let’s make that 8-1-3 as we throw our shekels on a two-piece of teams with a side of prop this Friday, 5/20/2022.
1. Put away the coin purse, and bust out the bandos as we present this week’s Bros’ Best Bet! Those red birds are going OFF this year, so we’re taking he St. Louis Cardinals (-135) to dominate the hapless swashbuckling Pirates in Pittsburgh (+115) starting at 3:35PM Pacific. The Pirates are struggling this year with or without pitcher Zach Thompson (RHP; 5.47 ERA), and even made the Reds look great last week. There’s no reason to doubt they’ll continue to slump and dump against Adam Wainwright (RHP; 3.15 ERA) and the bats of the Cards who sport top 10 league marks in Batting AVG, Runs, and OPS.
2. It’s a PROP PARTY as we chase down Aaron Civale and his skyrocketing 9.85 ERA. At this point the Cleveland Guardians may want to send some prayers to The Great JoBoo to see if he can exorcise the demons plaguing their righty pitcher. Even though they’re sitting bottom 10 in most major batting categories, we still like Detroit Tigers Over 3.5 Runs against the lobs they’ll be facing, Friday.
3. Finally, “Propag”Andrew hit the calculator hard to punch up his favorite trends on our last pick. For the night cap, he’s loving theMilwaukee Brewers (-170) as they host the Washington Nationals (+150) at 5:10PM Pacific. Now put on your bifocals and read these trends carefully:
Trend 1: Nats Away record is 8-11; Brew Crew’s home record is 12-5
Trend 2: Nats are 1-5 in the last 6 games vs. Brewers
Trend 3: Battle of the Eric(k)s, RHP Erick Fredde is 2-2 and has a 4.24 ERA for the Nats, while Eric Lauer is DEALING with a 3-1 record and 2.6 ERA for the Brewers.
All that to say, finish your trifecta strong and pick the Brewers on top Bros’ Best Bet Cards and enjoy your Prop Party with the Over 3.5 Runs for the Tigers. MLB Bros get our summer bods ready by getting our pockets fat with Bros Betting Baseball!
