Mike Claiborne | A Hall of Famer With St. Louis Cardinals Radio Broadcast Team For Past 18 Years

Brutha Broadcaster Mike Claiborne is covering his 42nd year of St. Louis sports. He began his time at KMOX Radio in February of 1981 co-hosting “Sports Open Line.”

Throughout his time in St. Louis, he’s served as a color analyst, a studio analyst and sideline reporter for college hoops, pro hockey, NFL, Fox Sports Midwest and the St. Louis Cardinals.

This is also Mike’s 18th year as a #BruthaBroadcaster on the three-man Cardinals radio Broadcast team. Claiborne, who spoke with MLBbro.com reporter Timothy McKain about his career and friendships with Cardinals legends such as Ozzie Smith, Willie McGee, Bob Gibson and Bill White, was inducted into the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame in 2021.
