The Cincinnati Reds are currently 29-34 and are within six games of the division lead.
As the team is in the middle of a rebuild/transitional period, many did not expect them to be this good.
The team already has an exciting young pitcher in MLBbro, Hunter Greene, that they are proud of, but in recent weeks, there has been a new budding contributor on the rise in the form of the imposing force that is MLBbro Will Benson.
At 6’5, 230 lbs, Benson has a statuesque physique reminiscent of MLBbro, and reigning American League MVP Aaron Judge.
The overall season has started slowly for Benson, but he has been making significant strides in the past two weeks.
Known for his significant power in the minor leagues, the Reds have been patiently waiting for the pop to come from him at the plate.
In his last seven games, Benson has batted .263 and struck out five times with three walks. Being more selective at the plate will bode well for him going forward.

The MLBbro had his first home run Wednesday night, and it could not have come at a better moment. While Reds fans were elated about the debut of top prospect Elly De La Cruz, it was Will Benson who stole the show.
In the bottom of the 9th inning, Benson sent a 420-foot moonshot over the right field wall to secure a walk-off win against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Benson’s celebration and passion were just as spectacular as the home run. This is undoubtedly the first of many to come for the MLBbro, and the future of him and the Cincinnati Reds looks brighter than ever.
